hey I know that's good advice and all and works for some, just like melatonin
I have manic insomnia so I know sometimes (every night) there's no sleep without my prescription sleep aid
Ambien 10mg and trazadone 200 don't even put my to sleep

Tried it and remeron and everything else. I take seroquel 400mg

Yep. That'll usually do it. Pretty good side effect profile, too (in that they're not severe).

I still take a Klonopin to put me to sleep

melatonin will work until you get used to it, some studies on mint vapor or mist too

unisom that has the active ingredient doxylamine succinate.
I'll try it out tonight, as well as wake up early and jog in the morning and see what happens
Of course then I'll go out Friday night and drink and stay out all night and mess it all up, but whatever
thanks OT

Go to sleep early to reduce the chance of morning hangover

Ashwagandha is an herb that acts on Gaba and serotonin receptors in the brain and works better with fewer side effects than anything else I've tried. It's not the strongest or fastest acting though. It needs to be taken about an hour before bedtime.

WTF would you know about sleeping?

Working outdoors has been the best sleep aid for me. Some of the best sleep I've ever had.

I wish you people wouldn't recommend herbs and supplements not approved by the FDA

Those of you suggesting Benadryl, talk to a good urologist if you Are taking Benadryl.
