Heading down this weekend for parades. Where would you professional parade watchers set up. And how early do we need to get there Sunday.

When I was growing up, my family would park by Claiborne and Carrolton and then take the street car all the way down to Napoleon. Then we would set up in front of Fat Harry's. We would then use Fat Harry's for the bathrooms and to get drinks if necessary. After the parades y'all can then grab food at Superior Seafood if you want, depending what times things are running for you.

Any place uptown of Jackson. May want to see where they had the streetcar tracks ripped up because it'll be muddy there (sidewalk side is for suckers).

Sunday? Weather looks good so I'd plan on being there early. I'm planning on 5 or 6.

Either on Napoleon or St. Charles near there. Get there early.
Maybe someone can help me, there is a church/school on St. Charles that sales bathroom passes, etc. Might be good to be near there.

Get there early. Go talk and be nice with the folks who either blocked shite off two weeks ago or got there at 5:00 AM. They may let you slide in with them.

Yeah that's what I was thinking time wise. Kids will have to be up early. How close could I expect to park.

So many people looking for spots for families. That's a damn shame.

easiest in and out of and close to food and bathrooms is Louisiana and St. Charles, issue is it can get very hood some parades.
Lee Circle and Napoleon area are the places I see it from the most.

Not sure why, I was thinking of something catholic sounding closer to Napoleon.

Pay for pee at Sacred Heart's auxiliary campus on Napoleon and St Charles right across from Fat Harry's.

Neutral ground is torn up right there and muddy so set up on Napoleon.
