I'm glad that ice ball finally got exposed for the non-planet it is.

What do you have against ice balls? I can't wait for your antiquated views on planets to be eradicated from society. #PlanetsMatter

I can't do the math because I hate math.. but the important numbers are 4.7 Billion miles to Pluto and an average space rocket travels at 4.9 miles a second

If those numbers are correct and my math is correct is would take a little over 30 years.

consider that Pluto is about 7.5 billion km away. The Moon is about 375 thousand km away.

Is that far or something? I was going to put it on a bumper sticker right next to my 26.2 sticker.

saw this cool interactive thing that helped you gauge the distances in space.

I remember something about how you could drive 70mph non stop for 25 years and you'd just be halfway between Mars and Jupiter.

More like 700mph

I like the scenarios where we presume we send multiple rockets to another star, where, because of distance and time and tech advancement, the 2nd crew would arrive before the first crew, the 3rd crew may arrive before the 2nd crew, and so on

How effing pissed would the crew of the first rocket be when they see the second one go sailing by them? I'd certainly give them a good fist shake out the window.

I was too young to remember the Voyager missions,

I remember both the Uranus and Neptune flybys. Newsweek magazine had a picture of each planet on the cover when the flybys occurred.
