Tell her you will be glad to get him a lap dance or 12 and do all of the cliche' bachelor party things she is afraid of.

But if she is basically begging you to pay for their room she sounds stripper trashy, so she could probably hook yall up.

Never heard of that. From what I can remember of the two I did years back was suit, speech, and arranged for the group that was going on the bachelor party trip to split up everything and make sure the groom didn't spend a dime.

Only expected the same of mine as well.

thats what i did too. didn't know there was more.

I did run a lot of errands for the bride/groom the actual weekend of the wedding though too.

The only thing I've ever heard is that the best man plans the bachelor party. He can pay for whatever if he wants to be a good friend. The most I've ever paid as a best man was a few rounds and a couple lapdances.

Good question. She never calls me. I think it's because I've been unknowingly nominated as the most responsible groomsman or some shite...huge mistake

Best Man's responsibilities include the bachelor party arrangements, buying the groom's drinks at said event, recovering any photographic evidence of the same event, damage control, driving him to the wedding while offering him a free flight to anywhere in the country no questions asked, a toast after the wedding, and being the first to grab his new wife's arse at the reception.

Nothing more.

If the Maid of Honor is a porker, I might leak a few pics here and there.

All I did as best man was set up and pay for grooms share of bachelor party

Get champagne and tip the shuttle driver from wedding to reception for the bridal party

And give the greatest speech ever

The only responsibility anyone in a wedding party has is to get the attire required and show up at the altar.

Everything else is lagniappe.. even rehearsals (though this is important to at least try and make), showers, bachelor parties, etc.

Don't expect anything. Be gracious IF you receive something.
