My initial thought is they are burning sugar cane across the river but I'm hearing there's a landfill on fire somewhere in the BR area.

Winds have been blowing from the east, could also be Woodside landfill. A friend of mine in Denham said she smelled it too. Talked to someone at DEQ that told me they've been having problems with Ronaldson LF in North BR, and Woodside LF in Walker.
