Politically, I don't understand her motivation. She already has the black vote. What is she hoping to gain, from a re-election standpoint? All she is doing is pissing of the white people. Some of whom may have supported her, some of whom may not have supported her but were kind of apathetic about it.
She has plenty of cover from the Justice Department here. She could say she disagrees, but it's done. Once the Louisiana investigation is over, she could act mad.
But to take these steps, tells me she is acting under her true belief system. This is who she is.

Let us not forget that Mr. Business Report, Rolfe McCollister, endorsed this moron. Any respect I had for him

She has the luxury of not having to play a complex political game. She knows she's got the only vital BR demographic sewn up for reelection. She ran on only a few basic topics - transfer as much money to NBR as possible, make BRPD mostly black, including the chief, and create a police force that overlooks crime in predominantly black neighborhoods.

Even if she accomplishes absolutely nothing, there are still enough white people on the metro council she can point to as obstructionists to her all black utopia.

Refresh my memory. Was this before or after he made a big deal of meeting with Gary Chambers, let him publish an editorial in the Business Report, and had 225 name him a person to watch?
