One time cash payment of $10,000 to each woman that will get "fixed" so that she can have no further children providing she has not already had more than 3 children and is already on wic/ebt/ housing assistance etc. This may sound crazy to many, however I think it is crazy that these women just keep having children like a dog has puppies and tax payers are expected to take care of them, especially since such a high percentage end up spending their lives living on the same govt programs they were born into. Additionally it's time to face the facts that a lot of the kids born this way are contributing to our crime problem and over population of the prison system. Maybe it's time for the leaders in the black communities to realize we don't need to reform our criminal justice system/ relax the laws etc we need to reform the family unit in their race and they need to accept responsibility for this problem

point: Some of the same people condemning abortion will upvote a post saying that some people should never have existed. I guess you can harmonize that, but to me it reeks of hypocrisy.

There's absolutely no hypocrisy in that belief system. At the inception of life we have a responsibility to care for it; however, we have responsibility to prevent said inception if we do not have the means to properly care for a child...

I do not understand this, we have lost something in this country that government cannot fix. Reminds me of the Breaking Bad episode where Jesse is in a house with a kid fending for himself because his parents are drugged out.

MO, it starts with education. This country needs an absolute education reform.

We have tried this since integration and busing and all it has done is create more private schools, charter schools, and magnet schools. Bussing has destroyed some of the greatest neighborhoods and public schools in Baton Rouge in a very short amount of time. When the media says “we need to have a candid talk about race in the country” it is always about how blacks are oppressed and what “we” (we, meaning white people) must do to fix it, because it is racist. I am tired of it. I feel for black kids in Baton Rouge because their parents are failing them, not the government and not education.

Reforming schools won't work if culturally they are seen as glorified baby sitting by a segment of the population. No amount of money thrown in schools can fix kids who have no desire to learn or have no one to answer to at home.

Man. There is some real talk going on in this thread. Very surprised the Tangerines and LSU_Saints_Hornet's of the OT haven't been in this thread to cry about meanie ole whitey talking bad about blacks yet.

What's sad is if this was a poor trashy white person we could legitimately talk about how fricked up this is and bash her and the problem we have in our society today.

But since she's black, we all just have to tip toe around the issue and bend over backward to make sure we don't offend anyone. This woman has SIX fricking kids.

I'm not sure it's even a fixable problem.

It's very fixable, start by doing away with gubment benefits, they have children to get paid!

She's trash, for sure. That poor child could have been picked up by a child molester or a child trafficker.

Hence the punishment to the parents or military or reform school. There must be some sort of offense or punishment that will fall on the shoulders of thr parents in charge. If the parents can't fix it, build schools that are highly strict or based on military.

I understand that will never happen because of people whining about "rights," but something needs to change. Period.

Consequences for their actions...or lack thereof.

How is that going to work? The government will fine them? Good luck with that.

I don't have all the answers.

But the parents have a responsibility with children. They should be held responsible.
