Bond set at 125k. Seems pretty low in my opinion.

Unless he's dangerous or a flight risk, the bond is plenty high enough. He's innocent until proven otherwise and a bond is supposed to ensure his presence in court, nothing more.

I thought people arrested over Marci Gras weekend didn't get bail set until Wednesday? Is that just folk lore?

I'm not quite sure he'll get a life sentence since he didn't kill anyone.

Didn't the FBI originally report it as a mass casualty incident?

Was wrong info, the 6 year old was killed in a different accident caused by a drunk drive in Ascension, and I just read about another fatality due to a drunk driver near gross tete.today, horrible weekend for the drunks and we still have 2 more days

Folk Lore. If you get arrested on Mardi Gras day you won't have bond set until Wednesday.

Bond is low because he has only been charged with a handful of crimes. There many more charges to come and bond will likely go up.

you don't think that in the special case of idk, some guy plowing through a crowd of people in his truck, might change this. Might hold true to most, this case seems a little different for some reason.

Alcohol in public needs to be banned. But sadly the people of La. Will rather see people die than take away their booz.

You sir, are an idiot. Let's put a ban on something that millions of people use, in accordance with the law, because of the actions of few.

By your logic, we should ban cars as well. He used that improperly as well and was the direct cause of injury.

Casualties include non-fatal injuries.

Yes the white lifelong Louisiana native was heard to scream "Allah Akbar!" before plowing into the crowd. Kelly Ann is already calling this the Mardi Gras Massacre!

Do you understand how a bond works and why it is set?
