Well, there have been studies done. They're self reporting, so obviously flawed, but I'd say there's some validity to them.

so its a fact that more sexual partners means a greater chance that the person will cheat?

You meet a guy that's in his mid to late 30s and isn't married or living with a woman and he's got issues like Kleenex has tissues.

well since ~50% end in divorce, and even more result in infidelity...id so most people are "doing it wrong"

Doing it wrong lots of time means getting married when you aren't mature and being beat before you ever start.
There was a time in my life when I had same attitude as many of you.
You'll change your tune as you get older and find a girl that's different than all the others you've been with.

Yea and end up with a 30 year old divorcee with 2 kids

Or someone who was in kindergarten when you had your first legal drink

At this point I might be better off waiting a few more years and picking up a widow in her 40s.

That's what the studies say. Makes sense to me, but you don't have to believe. I've already said that I don't think men should (in general) get married.

While I somewhat agree with your premise, it's painfully obvious that you're some academic dork who recently discovered the redpilll reddit and is repeating shite you've read on there verbatim.

I think it's a confidence issue with the guy if he is all worried that a female has lived her life like a grown adult. People have sex.

I want to get married eventually, but not because of social pressure, it's just something I want to do.

That being said, I'm 26 and have pretty much stuck to dating crazy my entire life, and it's so odd but I don't even know how to relate to non bats hit insane women.

It is more difficult for Type A men.

We have desire to "do 'em all".

You have to come to terms with the morality of the situation and how that would affect your life partner.
Maturity and the desire for a family helps this.

The plethora of women that are available to the single male these days is staggering. Also a man's value continues to rise well into his 40s while woman start to decline at a relatively young age. This puts a wide ranging variety in a stable, non-unfortunate looking guy's dating pool to choose from/upgrade. Just seems stupid to tie oneself down with marriage.

You can also be monogamous, faithful, and in a devoted relationship without signing a contract of law.

There is no right or wrong decision to stay single as long as you are happy. Dudes who are miserable and married would probably be miserable and single if they were not married.
