yep, but usually the wives tend to plan these. I've never heard of the husbands planning one.

Normal people don't find out the gender of their child until it's born now?

I know several that have done it for their second child. So I guess they're only half normal

You may not give a shite but guys who work hard during the week and want a few hours off on weekends might. And your wife hates the van you got her..

You don't get to take a weekend off from being a father and a husband. My wife loves the van. Did my best to talk her out of wanting the damn thing because I had the same mindset of the fricktards like you on here. Turns out I was wrong, and it's been some of the best money I've ever spent in making her life easier.

Nah. When my friends and family have been pregnant, I've cared about what gender their child was going to be. Amazing that you can care about what's happening in people you are about's lives.

Push presents. Only a gay homosexual (NTTAWWT) would give a woman a present for performing her only essential function.

I guess that all depends on what you mean by "taking a weekend off". If you're talking about a weekend fishing, playing golf, or whatever it is to get away, then yes you can physically take a weekend off. BUT, in the grand scheme of things you're not "off".

Have fun!!

Does that mean you're free from calls from the wife and kids? I couldn't go a day without talking to them, but I guess I'm "beta" like that.

I'm sorry you're miserable.

I'm not miserable. People who constantly need attention are miserable, hence the crying out for attention.

I agree 100%. I wanted to get eloped to spare everyone of this, but I can't win every battle.

The man-boys defending these parties are ignoring the point. That its pure narcissism that's driving the desire for these parties. Instead, your only defense is a kardashian-like reply: "like, OMG you guys sound like you're lives are so miserable and you're just jealous lolz"

You mean all the people like you that are just way too manly and cool to have fun at a party? Those billy badasses?

I have an opinion. Gender reveals are fun, and if you can't enjoy them, it says more about you than the guy that has the party.
