Brace yourselves, the feminists are probably all over this already.
Why? The poor family has to eat cheerios because the woman won't make them a decent breakfast. And that teen age daughter isn't learning shite either so the cycle continues.

I will admit that mixing the chocolate whole grain cheerios with the peanut butter cheerios sounds like a winner.

And the dude is serving her up coffee to go as she hurries to work. Feminist will love this one.

Yeah, the hat part was my favorite. That's exactly the kind of stuff that dads are supposed to do. Boys need dads around to turn their hats on straight and make sure they don't wear flat bills.- For a lot of other stuff too, but if we can just start there ...
Absolutely.
Absolutely.

Exactly. That commercial should be 15 seconds long.
1st scene: dad walks into each kid's room and says "get up! It's time to get ready for school"
Scene 2: dad to wife "what's for breakfast? It better not be Cheerios again."
Done! Call it "dads circa 1946-1989"

Damn, kinda makes me wish I'd stuck around and met a few of my kids.

I wonder how many thugs are sitting around smoking a bowl saying that when they see this commercial?

What I like about the commercial: the Dad is teaching his kids. All good coaches teach teach teach. Constantly teaching. That's a good thing to show.
What I didn't like about the commercial: it's awesome to show a Dad so involved with his kids, but if the dad didn't mention that he worked, I wouldn't believe that he did. We see mom suiting up and (presumably) heading out to work, but not him. If this commercial were aired 20 years ago, you could switch the mom and dad roles in the commercial and no one would bat an eyelash.
Which is my point: in a commercial which is supposed to be showing that Dad is #1 in the household, he is still clearly #2. Mom wears the pants in this family, as evidenced by the husband serving pretty much everyone in the ad. Mom serves no one.

Feed your kids sugary cereal #howtodad #'merica.
Peanut Butter Cheerios has less sugar than:
Raisin Bran (By a lot)
Special K w/ Red Berries
Basic 4
Banana Nut Crunch
Keep in mind I left out the obvious cookie crisps, cocoa pebbles, etc.

holy shite you people just look for shite to complain about.
The wife is probably some admin assistant and needs to be at work at 7:30 and the dad likely works from home as a record exec or is self employed.

It implies she only gets coffee if he gives it to her. It's a form of rape.

I was joking, but I think cereal in general is a pretty terrible excuse for a meal. Granted I rarely even eat breakfast, but I just think it's crazy the things we eat and consider it a source of nutrition. (i.e. pizza, burgers, etc.)

Good shite.
The hat comment to the son was great. I just wish he would have bent the bill too.
