Well, I agree with you then. The lawsuits are still cheaper than the manpower necessary to refill thousands of cups of "cool" coffee. It's a business decision; old lady deserved to be paid.

Why should a liability policy have to pay ANYTHING for an 8 year old jumping into the arms of his aunt? I can't fathom this attitude.
Why doesn't she do like all other normal, non-litigious, greedy people, and simply go get treated and use her health insurance?
Why do some people think that any time any one gets injured, there has to be someone other than themselves, or just circumstances, responsible?
