Except for my TD friends, my SO has killed them all. Not sure why TD gets a pass.
Maybe she's waiting until we are all together at Terds tailgate when the grenade lands on the beer pong table.

Really just depends on the person really.
I'm still in frequent contact via fb/phone with friends of mine I've known since I was 14. But they don't live anywhere near me...so I don't see them often. I've recently made many new friends where I live at. I may not have the history I have with older friends...but they are women that I can hang out with on a regular basis and they can relate to my current circumstances.
I think the ability to make new friends is skill we should all have throughout our lives. Some friendships last the test of time...some are just there for a certain season in your life.

Most from little league 5-6 years old. Then high school and 1 on senior trip. We all still hang out, hunt and fish together and soon our kids will be doing the same. Still friends with guys from college and work but not that close.

When you are born, because it's by far and away my brothers, dad, and uncles that are easily my best friends.
Other then that, I'd say bwtween the ages 17-22 is when I the bonds grew closest to the few people I would consider 'best friends' still to this day even though we don't get to see each other as much. Some I was friends with even younger but the range 17-22 is when the friendship grew to what it is now..... I have some friend from HS I could vfw lol up right now and they would do nearly anything for me.
Eta: I'm a little jaded right now, my very best friend from when I was a foot shorter than I am now, completely fricked me over just over a year or two ago. I m an completely broke a friendship bond that I'd have bet my life wouldn't have happened..... And that sucks, but I'm not letting one piece of shite ruin my relationship with others.

I have a mixed bag. I have a couple of friends that went to school with me from 1st-grade through college.
High school friends came and went because we didn't follow the same paths (work vs. attending college).
I'd have to say that most of the people I've kept up with were college friends and a couple of childhood friends.

Friends? What are these 'friends' of which you speak? I'm not familiar with the term.

College. But I wonder if that's because it was the dawn of the Internet and were so connected now with group emails and group text. We all live all over the world now but essentially talk daily about every random subject. We get together for big events or when someone is in another town.

Early grade school thru junior high. Only guys I would gift money to if they were in need of a loan. Only guys I would ask advice from on personal matters. They would always have my back, no matter what. May not talk for 5 years, but it would be like yesterday if we talked.

Junior High. My best friend to this day has been my best friend since we were 8 years old.
