Very true. Islanders can walk out the bar, shoot the shite with the cops in the parking lot, jump in the driver seat of their car with a open beer, and peel out.

Do you prefer your fire chief to be high when your home is on fire? It also has not been confirmed that only marijuana was found. Cops also don't write laws, as I seem frequently compelled to remind you. If you have an issue with a law you need to take it up with your legislators.

Right, agree with you on the fire chief not being high. But between the petty tickets, arrests and all the chicken shite harassment in between, it's obvious present day departments are over bloated cash cows. Used to be they'd only harass the thugs, now they are harassing normal, working citizens. In turn, people are starting to notice. Cops treat it like a war against the citizen, a very militaristic attitude towards society. I know there's a lot of good officers out there, which I DO greatly respect.

Shut up piggy. No one is advocating going to work high.
