I grew up on Woodland Ridge Blvd.

I'm going to call bullshite on gunshots being heard that far away.

We're calling your doctor to schedule a hearing exam.
I lived in Highland Creek and we often heard gunshots coming from Gardere(~1.3 miles away).
He could most definitely hear shots from this complex on a clear night.

Maybe if the cops were actually patrolling the neighborhood, shite like this wouldn't take place. Instead they sit and hide by the school with their radar detectors out thats less than a mile from where the armed robbery took place.

It sucks to hear this happening in the neighborhood I was born and raised in, and still currently living in shenanoah. My parents live 1 street away from where that happened, and I live 2 streets away. My parents were out walking during that time as well, and still don't think its necessary for them to carry a gun while walking the neighborhood

Yeah it was clearly audible. 2 distinctly different weapons. I know what a gun sounds like. I wouldn't have heard it inside but I happened to be outside drinking a beer and puffing on a cigar that night

How far can this robber get with an iPhone that's locked with the victims passcode?

Passenger will note the carrier, remove the sim, and factory reset it before the driver gets out the neighborhood. Then shut it off.
Fetch $100 for decent device online depending on the carrier.

Sucks balls but they got this down to a routine.

Same here in Highland Creek ~2002. I heard pop pop pop, and BOOM. I ran inside telling the wife It sounded like someone came to the shootout with a pistol and got blasted by a shotgun.

That's EXACTLY what the paper read the next day. Except they had terrible aim and missed all 4 shots. And both went to jail.

About 2 minutes after this incident there was nothing but sirens off in the distance for the next 15 minutes.

I've heard some others that sounded even further off in the distance at night. I think I might be able to hear them from that little ghetto on S Harrells Ferry and O'Neal. These were much less audible though. My wife heard them too and looked at me and said "that's gunshots". That's a little under 2 miles away.

A lot of this probably factors on wind direction etc.

I think he thought that I was saying something negative about Woodland Ridge which I most certainly wasn't. I live there
