Saw in in the Neighborhood app that a guy got held at gun point today while taking a walk around the neighborhood today. All the robber took from the individual was an iPhone, could have been a lot worse. Also read that in happen in broad daylight around 6 pm. Just giving a heads up to people in the Shenandoah, Tiger Bend, Jones Creek area.

That’s a nice area. I have family that way. That’s a little out the blue, don’t you think?

It's not a bad area at all but not what it was in the 80s-90s. It's in the proposed St George. We live in Woodland Ridge so not far away

But in St George we’ll have the posse out rounding up the suspects and exacting Justice.

That Green Trails development has homes over 400k. What’s the status of that neighborhood?

Paul we live north of there which I believe we've recently discussed. I have a friend that lives in Green Trails and has had no issues. We've never had an issue in Woodland Ridge in 5 years but I'd be lying if I said that some of our surroundings haven't deteriorated.

I've heard gun shots a mile or 2 off in the distance here at night. One was attributed to an incident at Sherwood Acres on Coursey. The other sounded like maybe an incident at S Harrells Ferry at O'Neal in that little enclave. Again, not close but audible.

Same kind of thuggish behavior has been happening around Audubon Park running/bike track lately per nextdoor. So what’s the resale value on iPhones again? Dummies should realize most folks don’t go for a jog with a few hundred in their Lulu lemon pants.

I'd estimate that the few that I've heard were 2+ miles away. Sound definitely carries at night. I'm an educated redneck from Central and could probably defend the Alamo for a few hours. I've never felt unsafe here but we also have alarms, cameras and dogs

Shenandoah will be the next North Sherwood Forest. It’s only a matter of time. Shame.

Homes are going from 320k to 550k and could go above 600k for some of the homes.
