I just received an alert from LinkedIn that a gentlemen (early 50s) that is friends with one of my connections, just became a certified travel agent.

I'm constantly being besieged by LinkedIn requests by olds, which is clearly just ripping through their email address books like the herp. It has made me distrust that piece of shite medium like the plague. frick linkedin and frick all of you who use it.

Two days ago, I logged onto Facebook for the first time in quite a while. I had a friend request from my first grade teacher. I accepted it. She wrote on my wall yesterday, saying how excited she was to be Facebook friends. frick everything.

It's Linkedin. It's old people connecting with other old people who might help them change jobs. They don't want or need connections with jobless millennials.
