Are man buns just something we will have to accept from younger generations?

I feel like the man bun is becoming more and more prevalent these days
Last night I was working and it was man bun galore. Then a bunch of middle school boys on what I am guessing was a baseball team came in with their families and I swear half the boys had man buns. The thing is a lot of these boys didn't even have long hair. They had normal length hair but somehow were able to scrap together every last bit of hair they could so they could put a rubber band around it and create the smallest possible pony tail/bun.
Myself I would rather drink a gallon of water from Lake Ponchatrain than ever wear a man bun. But for some reason its ultra popular these days. I guess its a sign of the birkenstock culture that still is rampant.

Lake Ponc is surprisingly fairly clean these days.

It's a sign you're getting old. I still remember my grandpa talking about those long haired hippie folk just bc they didn't have a crew-cut

I'll never understand why some guys are obsessed with how other men wear their hair or how they dress.

Man buns are the way to identify retards.

Do they care for themselves? Pay their own way? Pay taxes? Not burden society?
If the answer to these questions is "yes," then I don't give a shite about anything else - especially their hair

You work at Golden Corral.

It's a hairstyle and hairstyles change. Sooner or later the man-bun will go the way of the mullet and the bowl-cut.

Where do you live?
Man bun craze was big a few years ago here in Austin. I don't see them often anymore, however.

No thanks.
My take is that man bun does not a samurai make.
They'll probably be scarce in a few years.

The scary thing is how the man bun had kinda started catching on with the paramilitary traditionally rightwingesque types. When you see the look extend out past fringe hippies we're probably going to be seeing it for a while maybe forever.
