Arched windows and curtains??

Are there any companies that make curtains for arched curtains and doors? Or is this solely custom order curtains? And any recommendations on custom curtain makers? This is going to be expensive I'm sure.

Why don't you just get a curved curtain rod?

I had this issue too with my french doors on the front of my house. I ended up going with a custom blind.

We went down this path and decided to do plantation shutters on all windows. Yes it was a huge arse raping but they look nice. They will build the shutters to fit the arched windows as well.

I'm going to give this thread a bump in hopes that someone has a reasonably priced attractive alternative.

Just have fixed curtains that you draw and clip to the side.

That's a custom job, sir. Prepare to fork over the dollar bills.
I would recommend a beautiful padded boxed valance over the arch.
ETA: try pitre textiles.

I've seen people use a straight rod so that a "dome" is still at the top and allows light through. Depends of course on where the window is and if any light is desired or not.

I ran a straight curtain rod across mine and left the top uncovered. Looks great and it's nice to let more light in, plus see sunshine or skies. Or trees, lol.

For the top, I used a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe as the rod. Then sew up a curtains. Had to block out the light. That room is my TV man cave room.

We left the arch windows uncovered and used a straight rod with to the floor drapes.
I HATE everything I saw that covered the arch part and I liked letting some light in.
