I can def see that.

I believe that lots of people are born into unlucky situations, and I certainly am not a "pull up your bootstraps" type. But Redditors on average, from the years I've lurked, are a collective group of very low income folks without a lot of ambition or charisma that go along with becoming successful.

You see a lot of threads that start with, "I'm 24. My partner says I'm not pulling my weight, but I'm on disability and also struggle with mental issues so I can't hold a job or help with the kids. We are in $20k credit card debt. How do I get my partner to stop asking me to get a job with these debilitating issues going on?"

Obviously those are real issues for some, but damn near 50% of the demographic on one website? That's crazy. How did they all find the place?! Its tiring and very woe is me.

Reddit skews way, way younger than TD. And like I mentioned before, they have a ton of international folks on there.

He has 7 years and almost 45K posts here yet he thinks he’s different.

He can say he disagrees with the “toxicity” but the fact that he’s this involved means he can easily stomach this site. Which would put him on the negative side of things by those Reddit users’ standards.

This thread got anchored
