As a black transgender I had to quit using reddit because the community was so toxic. This place has been much more welcoming.

At one time reddit was fantastic. I still use it for outdoor stuff. But they have scrubbed any opinions different than the leadership boards. And I say this as someone left of center.

Taking the pansy way out in life is always the easy way. It's why liberals on reddit are all like that. It's why all these corporations and talking heads are making their "statements" on the racial situation. It's the easy way out. What dignified person would ever want to have injustice and mistreatments of a certain race? I don't know any in my life and I don't think there are any here.
What is hard to talk about is to figure out WHY we are where we are. Good lord, what happens today is not because of what happened 175 years ago. If you feel like someone is wronging you or keeping you down, well, bullshite. Get off your arse and do something for yourself and your family.
Will everything change overnight? No. But, I promise, you put in the effort, have children (preferably 2 parent homes), raise them as good as possible, teaching right and wrong, your family situation WILL improve. No doubt in my mind. And this goes for all races. Plenty of white trash that don't raise good kids and they keep living in trash homes and trash communities.
