The area I'm looking at isn't on the side of the RaceTrac.

The street im looking at almost backs up to the Burbank soccer fields.

This seem like an OK area? I would assume that being on the other side of bluebonnet would lessen the chances of riff raff coming around?

Side note: anyone know anything on Nicholson Lakes as well?

You're probably looking at a house very close to mine. I moved in 3 months ago and love it. Pretty convienient to LSU and the mall/seigan area.

Love the new racetrack

Almost bought one halfway down the last filing that backs up to Burbank. Was on the canal side but it didn't work out

I may go inside a convenience store twice a year...for beer and/or ice. That's it.

What street? I wonder if it's the same street I'm looking at. Can I ask why it didn't work out?

I've lived here 2 years now. It's just a starter home.. I would say I live on one of the better lots in the neighborhood.. toward the middle of the neighborhood and more secluded from possible riff raff.

My roommate leaves his truck unlocked half the time like an idiot. In 2 years he has twice had things taken from his truck (a big cup of change and an old gps). But other than that we've had no issues.

Seems like mostly young families. A few are rent houses for college students but not near as many as I thought (fortunately) when I bought the place. I jog every now and then. I don't ever feel unsafe there. But yes, Gardere is only a long iron away...

No thanks. That development looks tacky to me.

Fairly certain that the north east corner of bluebonnet and Nicholson will be mixed use commercial somewhere between towne center and perkins Rowe.

House was at the top of my price range, and they already had 2 offers in that I didn't feel like having to outbid.

You might be looking at the same house actually, I think it stayed on the market. Was an awesome house, just timing for me didn't work.

I have to say. As someone who hates WalMart, I like that WalMart. Always practically empty when I go. I park by the garden center, get a front spot every time, and never leave angry like I do on the rare occasions I visit other WalMarts.

I agree with the need for a family restaurant in the area.

Hillpark. Just looked and the one I looked at isn't listed anymore. The one for $308000 looks good though.

I really like the one they have on hill point too.
