So first child was born 17 months ago. Since then the wife doesn't want to do anything fun like go anywheres and just enjoy life. Just wants to sit around the house. All the time? Used to be so much fun. Im fine with needing to relax but it's becoming a boring life

Any advise?

Change the "s" to a "c."

Post this on the OT.

It's called marriage with kids. Get a good cable/satellite sports package and embrace your Al Bundy. Hopefully your wife at least still puts out for you.

Kids are so hard until their like 5. She probably just needs chill time to recoup.

You should try and understand her needs better. Try helping with child more and around the house more. She sounds overwhelmed. You sound immature.

No. I have two under 4 years old and I love going out and about. Just this morning we have walked down to our neighborhood lake and let the lab swim, washed her, and now we are all off to grandmas house to swim in heated pool

Maybe start off small. Suggest walking around the neighborhood with your kid in tow in a stroller? Picnic at the park?

We had #2 at 17 months. You THOUGHT you didn't do anything with just one...

I did get a nice beeJ then took #1 to the game last night. #winning

I help out a lot. I take good care of her. She just doesn't want to budge.

My wife is the same way. We have a 4 year old who's been non-stop action since she was born. Wife mostly just wants to sit around the house now. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you because I never figured it out myself!

Have you asked her what is going on with her? Also arrange a baby sitter and just insist you are taking her out. She will resist but thank you afterwards.
