I bought a Tag from Amazon years ago. It doesn't have the same international warranty that a dealer purchased watch does, but it's genuine and the price was WAY better.

We provide the substance. So it's cool.

You seem like the OT resident watch expert, I really like the aviator style with a brown leather band. Can you recommend some different watches on Amazon in the 75-200 dollar range? I want to compare some different brands. TIA

i bought a hamilton from amazon and actually needed a repair
like an idiot i wore this watch while boiling crawfish and got into the pool with it too, hot cold hot cold = moisture build up inside of some watches

had to actually use the amazon warranty through asurion
i sent the watch in, they were very responsive, i didn't pay a dime, got it back in a couple weeks and it is in tip top shape now

I purchased a Tag watch off Amazon.com. It is grey market which is real but Amazon is not an authorized dealer so I had to purchase a 3rd party warranty.

I've bought a watch from Amazon. No issues. I'd rather get something from Amazon than the manufacturer anyway because you've got amazons customer support if you need it.

Hell yes, Orient is a legit brand. One of a few watch makers that actually make their own movements. It's not popular or familiar in the States, but it's a great brand. I've had four. The Blue Mako is one of the few must-haves watches

Got my Tag from Amazon, sold by them, not 3rd party.

Was $500 less than anywhere else. No issues

I've had two, but with an orange dial and one with a black dial. Awesome watch for the money, which is around $120 depending on the seller, strap, and dial color. They also have yellow and a pepsi dial. Smooth sweep hand. There's a Mako XL for about $50 more and I had one of those too but flipped it, not caring so much for its looks. The Mako and Mako XL is not not exactly the same watch (just bigger type of deal), the XL has different styling cues.

If I were to buy a $200+/- watch, I'd look at a Seiko SKZ Seiko or a Seiko Monster Seiko
