Anybody read the book "Inferno" by Dan Brown? (discussion)

I was so in to it, I couldn't put it down for days.
Then I got to the ending and found myself pissed off.
(spoilers)
It's like the entire book was a waste of time. The virus was released a week before the events of the book. None of the clues or anything meant a damn.
May as well done nothing and sat back. To me the ending was worse than Langdon waking up and it being all a dream.

That book was amazing; I loved all the reference to Dante.
The ending didn't provide a really big payoff, but I kind of got what he was going for and didn't think it took away from the rest of the story.

oh, yeah 1/3 the world is now sterile.....
I just got me for as smart as the book was and the puzzle, to get there and the pathaogen not only being released but worldwide was a downer.
Almost like Dan Brown was promoting a transhumist movement.
