ULL is great, I'm sure.

Look, you just have to ask yourself, "If I don't do this, will I regret it?"

If the answer is "yes", then do it. I know it's tough, but the hard work will make it that much more sweeter.

My FIL did it.

My wife and I will have both completed our graduate education before having any children. I couldn't imagine working full time, going to grad school, and dealing with kids (I don't have children yet).

Thanks, it will absolutely help my career. Primary focus is getting the MS but also doing the ROTC program. I've decided that back into the military is the best option for me and my family, so I plan on doing the program and graduating as a commissioned officer.

I was facing the same choice as you about 4.5 years ago. When I decided to go back I had a one year old and a wife.

It was rough while I was doing it and even harder on my wife but both of us being on the same page helped a lot.

Ultimately I'm really happy I went back and it already seems likely it was a lifetime ago.

Thanks!

Any info on my question regarding the loan programs for living expenses? I've never taken out student loans before and don't know if they are used exclusively for tuition or if I can use them for living expenses as well. All info is appreciated

I did law school at night with a full-time job and a full family. You figure the shite out. It sucks but grind it out if you feel it is going to benefit you and your family in the long run.

I went to grad school with a full time job and 3 small children. I took hybrid courses and finished my degree in 14 months.

I thought about it but my job is way too demanding to be able to pull it off

Only way I would consider it now. I guess degrees that are online are the same as brick and mortar degrees?

Someone I knew went to med school as the mom of two elementary schoolers. They were ballers and could afford hired help though.

I am doing it now. Working full time with two kids and a wife. Going to U of H. Luckily these days, a whole lot of classes are online. I have to usually go to night class at least one day a week for a couple of hours then do the rest of the work online, then I usually take 2 100 % online classes.

Just took my last final of the semester today ! Boy it sure is different celebrating last day of finals at 36 years old than the last time I was there at 22 !

What kind of grad school? Mba, masters and ph.d is doable while working

Pt, med school, pa school, those schools, then I'd say don't work.

Psych is definitely doable, worst part is probably using APA format for essays.

I'd recommend a thesis or ph.d after

I did it at age 41.. for two years with three kids under age 10. It wasn't as bad as some make it out to be.

Yea. I was surprised but if you're prior service, you don't have to do a lot of the initial stuff. Basically, I'm able to start "as a junior" which I'm able to do the program in 2 years.

Cool.

I'd say do it

Plus you'll get that prior enlisted pay too once you become a butter bar
