BR to Miami to New York to Michigan to St. Louis to home.

Headed west...

BR to Amarillo, to colorado, to yellowstone, to seattle, to utah, to phoeniz, to home.

My advice, drive a capable 4x4 and get off the road in UTAH and Arizona.

Get in the Luna Mesa... It is like a whole nother freaking world.

Yes, and it's awesome, aside from Dallas, TX. frick that place.

I'll be making my way back to MT again in less than 3 weeks. Cannot wait.

Epic small town. Has a 70 mile gravel road coming in on one side.

It's been years, actually since I became a father but back in the 90's I took multiple long motorcycle trips. Most were going out west, the pacific northwest, southwest, all through Florida, multiple trips from Alabama to Ft. Knox KY for different schools. Rode to Sturgis twice and would like to do it again. Only one was going up the east coast up to Maine which I'd love to do again. This June we're leaving for a week riding from Alabama up to North Dakota and I'm really pumped to finally be making another long bike ride.

Yep. From Michigan to San Francisco one summer. I wish we would have done some different stuff/went some different routes.

-Suburbs of Detroit to St. Louis (what a fricking dump and letdown St. Louis was).

-St. Louis (through Kansas City) to Denver fueled with lots of pot and coffee. Mind numbing drive, but very peaceful and calming at the same time.

-Denver to Salt Lake through Hwy 40. Pure beauty.

-From there we went S'West to Humboldt Toiyabe for a couple days. Once again, pure beauty.

-We then headed West to end up in San Francisco.

Driven from BR to Los Angeles (twice). Some good scenery if you venture off I-10 for a portion or to of the drive.

My dad and I drove from BR to Park City Utah (to visit family) four summers in a row back in the mid-to-late 90s.

We typically tried to drive straight through (stopping only to eat and sleep) so it wasn't much of an experience America deal. However, on the last trip, my dad figured we weren't going to be making the drive anymore, as I was about to graduate college. Anyway, we took a few unfamiliar routes and actually spent some time in some of the smaller towns along the way.

We caught up to an old friend of my dad's who now lived in Westcliffe Colorado. This was a town of about 550 people and the downtown area was like out of the show Northern Exposure.

We spent some time at his cabin and then travelled to a piece of land he owned and spent two nights camping in some of the most amazing and beautiful scenery I've been luck enough to see with my own eyes.

It was the highlight of the trip and still holds a very profound place in my memories now.

Houma through Texas, into New Mexico, up to Colorado, down into Arizona, back up into Utah, over into Nevada, back down into Arizona, across through New Mexico and back through Texas and into Houma.
