Any tacoma owners with young kids?

So in the next year, give or take a few months, I'll be getting a new vehicle. It's most likely going to be a tundra or tacoma. I don't care about the other brands so don't waste your time.
My question is...is there enough room in the tacoma rear seat for car seats? I plan on keeping the vehicle for awhile, and I don't want to buy something and then have to upgrade because of lack of space. I know the tundra backseat is like a house.

I have extended cab Tacoma (not 4 door) and they only have hookup for 1 car seat. Actually getting a new truck in next few months because of this

I have an extended cab, and they are fine back there on boosters, but with car seats I didn't like they way it sat on the small seat.
The quad cab has pretty good sized back seats and I don't think it would be a problem at all.

I would definitely be getting the 4 door with either truck

Tundra would be better for car seats. Tacoma could fit them, but it's tight and kids grow fast

The new models are pretty big. I have an 09 and I think it would do fine.

Odd, I have a 2007 and it has hook ups on each side.
I do want something bigger though, think I'm going to get a four runner and a work van so I don't need a work truck.

I've had a Tacoma (4 door) for 10 years. My kids have grown up in it... saving it for the oldest to drive in a couple of years.

I'm kind of in the same dilemma. Except I've been thinking about getting a Jeep Wrangler 2 door or a Tacoma ext cab.

Heh... I have a Wrangler (4 door) too. Cool thing about the Jeep is when your kid spills milk all over the carpet, you can pull the carpet out and wash it... and the tub of the Jeep as it has drain holes.

I have a 16 Tacoma 4 door and the cab is as big as a Camry. I have 2 kids- 5 and 9. There is plenty of room in the 2nd row.

I had to fold the passenger seat down after my daughter turned around two.
It was a pain in the arse. Traded it in on a Tundra.

I just bought a Tacoma 4 door, and it has plenty of room for them.

I have an 08 Tacoma and it fits my 3 year old fine. Now car seats are getting bigger and taller but it will do you fine.

I have both. Obviously much more room in the Tundra but the Taco 4 door has enough for what you need.

I have a 2015 with a 2&4yr old in the back. It's fine

I have a 2015 Tacoma 4 door 4wd and it fits my family of four perfectly.
Go for it. It's the funnest truck I've ever owned and it's not close. I hope to maybe pass it to my 11 year old in a few years.
Inhad a tundra before this and I loved it also. I just enjoy running around in the Tacoma more for some reason

I remember having to ride in the back jump seats of my dads 1987 Nissan "king cab" truck. Once we got big enough, me and my sister would fight to win the privilege of sitting up front.

I had a Tacoma and upgraded to a Tundra due to my son in 08. You will need to upgrade very soon

I'm not so much worried about kids as infants. Can it fit a rear facing seat? I should have been more specific.
