I don't know. Did you? I'm sure you have to work a lot of nights, weekend and holidays to make that top end.

The median annual salary for a pharmacist was $119,280, or $57.35 per hour, in 2013. The best-paid 10 percent made $147,350, while the lowest-paid made $89,000. The best-compensated pharmacists are employed by merchandise stores.

$92,970 Physician assistants raked in a median annual salary of $92,970 in 2013, according to the BLS. The top-earning 10 percent in the profession made approximately $130,620, while the lowest 10 percent of the pay spectrum brought in about $62,030.

Not all pharmacists have shitty schedules. A friend of mine left retail for home health, took about a 15k pay cut, but has a regular 9-5 job with weekends and holidays off.

I work about 30 hours a week and make a little more than that. Again a great reason to consider RN school. To top it off I love my job and my coworkers ( mds and pas included) If you leave the south it is an awesome profession :)

That's awesome for you! If I were in nursing I wouldn't think twice about moving to Cali. I had no idea it was like that out there. It's certainly not like that here in LA from my experience in school.

Well like someone else said. You're overpaid or youre lying.

quote:

Throughout the nation, the registered nurses with the highest annual salaries can be found in California at an astounding average $94,120 salary.

You're indicating that as an RN only working 30 hours a week you make $150k-$175k per year plus your benefits.

That makes you the highest paid RN in the country. Congratulations

The OT never disappoints.

Many private programs look at only your pre rec gpa but a subway franchise is cheeper & you will make more $$

In a shite economy first thing many do run & get a prof degree so it's crowded pay is not that great electricians truck drivers can make more money but that's not why you are wanting to do it is it?

I truly love this board when salary, dick sizes, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, IQ, and similar threads pop up. People on the OT expect you to believe that they are in the top 1% of EVERYTHING.
