Ah so the groom was a hot head and the state champion wrestler and beat the uninvited guy up. Makes a lot more sense now

Same here. Thought the groom got beat up which would suck.

The father daughter dance was basically her old man dragging around her unconscious body. Felt bad for the groom because it was a big time shite show

The wedding was in Alabama? Weren't the groom and father the same guy?

A few years ago I was in China on business with a colleague and one of the companies we were meeting with invited us to lunch. As it turns out one of the partners in the Chinese company had a son who had just gotten married. In China the weddings last for about a week or so. The bride and groom hang out at the in-laws then mom and dads place and host luncheons and dinners which are considered part of the wedding, (I guess). So, we arrive at lunch at there is a huge gathering of people who are there for wedding party and we are given a wrapped gift by the bride and groom. Now understand, the partners of this company are multi-millionaires but have this luncheon at a cinder block dwelling with a dirt floor and the funk of 40,000 years imbedded into the walls. They start serving Bai Zhu, (Chinese jet fuel whiskey) and my colleague over indulges. He eventually gets up to go to the bathroom and is overcome with the smell of human feces and pukes his guts out for 3 days. Apparently, the mix of Bai Zhu, Cow Stomach, human feces and funk just decimated him for 3 days with diarrhea, vomitting and near death. We finally opened our gifts on day 4 and there were 3 cigarettes, 2 peanuts in the hull, 3 peices of hard candy and some Chinese gum. A week after we got home, my colleague quit.

Pics, or you made that whole lame story up!

C'mon, man, you know you got some!

Yeah, I got some that night, but honestly, she was nothing to be proud of. All photographic evidence of being with this woman has been burned/scrubbed.

not sure if it's bad behavior, but i went to a wedding near shreveport a few years back where the attendees all had shorts or jeans with polo shirts on.

i was fricking amazed. only asian couple there, dressed up to the 9's, at a white wedding, where they dressed like it was another fricking saturday.

Yeah, was born and raised Baptist. Never attended a Catholic wedding until I was out of college. Was the best man. I had no idea about the toast. I thought it was a simple raise of the glasses and saying about 10 words.

I felt like a total too about two years later at my next one when I saw what the toast was supposed to be

Got into a fist fight with my best friend at a wedding in lake Charles. We busted through a wall in the hotel. Not my proudest moment

The most pissed I've ever been is a college buddy's wedding. A few of us drove all the way to middle of nowhere Arkansas which is when he sprung on us that her dad was baptist so wedding was dry (this is the dumbest mentality ever and you won't change my mind) BUT he totally took care of us. By that he meant he had an ice chest full of warm bud light in the back of the middle school cafeteria this shite show of a wedding was being held at. We have since slowly lost touch...and that's ok by me

this shite blows me away....Since moving up to North Louisiana I have found no one here knows how to dress. I have been to both weddings and funerals where people show up in jeans and fishing shirts. I got married at what is probably the most iconic church in Shreveport and some people showed up in polo shirts and jeans..one dude of course wore a hat.

I may have been in that wedding ?? had something similar happen last year. One of the groomsman decided the party wasn’t over after the rehearsal dinner. Got in his underwear and tried to snuggle with all the bridesmaids and the bride. All the while his GF and daughter were in the beach house next door. 2 other groommans took exception and beat the hell out of him. When I got there the next morning to help cook and get ready for the wedding there was blood up and down the stairs. And yes he was a Roll Tider

East Coast wedding, so not redneck but still white trash. Thinking she's going to steal the limelight, the bride's much younger half-sister (same dad) annouces during the toasts that she's pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend. Bride's mother yells out that the half-sister is a slut just like her mother. Slut's mother calls the bride's mother an old hag who can't keep a man. Bride is crying. Meanwhile, the father of the bride and the slut looks like he wanted to be anywhere but there.

Toasts have never been a thing at any wedding I've been to and I'm catholic. Maybe at the rehearsal, but even still it's only a big fancy toast when it's a super talkative, story telling type of person to begin with.
