Good buddy of mine fricked our company's receptionist after they both got wasted at the company Christmas party. One night stand for him, but she pulled a Fatal Attraction thing on him. Stalked him, harassed and threatened him, came over to his place with a gun (which he observed from a hiding place). Somehow she eventually cooled off and left him alone, but the dude was genuinely afraid for his life. Nasty, psychotic little bitch from Texas.

*Sigh* Okay.

This was years ago when I worked at a bank during college. This guy would walk in (white, mid-50's/60's) and bring his stuff to me. I would process the transaction and tell him to have a good day.

Well, then he started coming to me more often and kept telling me I was a "gentleman and a scholar". I didn't think much of it. Just shrugged it off.

Then, one day, on a really busy Friday (the lobby was packed) he came up to my window and I processed his stuff. Then, out of nowhere, he said, "Well, it's time for lunch. Where are we going? I was thinking of a place a little more intimate." I was completely floored, freaking speechless. Holy shite, the looks people gave me in that lobby. I thought I would never live it down. I told him I'm sorry but that I wasn't interested. He walked out. I thought that was the end of it.

But it wasn't. Not by a long shot.

He kept coming in. It would be cold outside and he would come in bicycle shorts and tank tops. He would suck on lollipops and scream my name in the lobby. My manager would ask him to leave, would make sure I went on break the moment he walked in, but he wouldn't stop.

Then, I started receiving letters at the bank from him. They were written on burnt parchment, in red ink, with crosses drawn all over the edges. Each time, each letter, there would be a recording of him singing and playing a church organ. It got so bad that the bank terminated his accounts after he called my managers at home threatening to hurt them for not "letting us be together". He would actually bring a radio to a payphone, call and threaten my managers, playing his recordings in the background. This is how the police found him.

Needless to say, the cops and bank security NEVER let me live it down.

The guy, of course, was sick. His mother died and she was the only one who made sure he took his medicine. Just a sad situation all around. I'm just glad I left that job alive. I really thought he was going to wear my skin.

You are lucky to be alive.

Curious, was he wealthy? You had his finances so you probably know a lot about that.

These two people I work with are getting married. They met at the job 6 months ago and got engaged last month. 25 years old.

I want to shake some sense into them, but they are a bizarre duo.

What did the police do to him? Hopefully sent to the looney bin so they could force him to take his meds.

How old was he and what did he look like? Big dude that could have beaten the shite out of you or some scrawny little bitchmade man?

Sorry about the questions, these kind of stories fascinate me.

All one of them has to do is say "sexual harassment" and you are done. I won't even halfway look at a woman at work. Too much pussy out in world to risk a job over it.

I'm not sure. I never had to be witness against him or anything. In fact, I don't know what happened to him.

He was in his 50's or 60's. Not a big guy. Probably my size (5'11") Out of shape. Sandy blonde hair. I wasn't really scared of him, but it certainly was embarrassing. The guy would wait for me and stuff. It was really weird. He truly believed the world was trying to keep us apart or something. His letters would tell me how he would die for me, how we can't let this world come between us. Serious suicide pact shite. He probably sent between 20 to 30 letters.

Yeah, but without his weak-arse story, we wouldn't have gotten Sabi's awesome one. So the OP kinda made a contribution....

Have a good friend I met through work years ago when I lived out of state. We attended pre-employment training together in SC for several months and became tight. He confessed to me one night that he took the new job because he had an ex girlfriend that was stalking him. He had previously dated her and then broke up when it became apparent she had issues. It eventually escalated to where she broke every window out of his rent house one night when he wasn't home and tried to burn it down once with him in it. He knew it was her but the police couldn't catch her in the act. He realized she was going to kill him or he was going to have to kill her so he took the new job to get out of there.

I ended up putting his new utilities and other accounts in my name when we got to our new duty stations to help him maintain a low profile. Would be crazy to live through that.
