Not for long, I'm afraid. As it came out, this guy stalked, harassed and threatened the poor girl in a manner that made clear his intention to murder her--I mean, he spray painted something to the effect of "I'm going to kill you" on the wall of a parking lot where she worked. I think the girl got a restraining order or something … for what good that did.
Anyway, the guy seemed normal enough when I spoke with him. Well dressed, pleasant, resume in hand. Quite different than the guy I saw handcuffed in a police car on the 6 o'clock news that evening. I thought about calling the cops, but my boss--who spent the majority of the time with the kid that day--said he'd take care of it. Sad story.

When I got my restraint order the judge called me into her chambers to make sure I understood that the piece of paper would not help me if he decided to kill me. True Story. My attorney and the bailiff suggested I get a gun.

There was a lawyer in Tyler, Texas who was boffing his kid's babysitter while his wife was sleeping (I never did hear why the babysitter was still there if the wife was home, and I assume that they had sex other times/places). He ended up losing his law license and have a criminal conviction (the babysitter was not of age).

That's frightening. Sickening. And, in my opinion, a very good reason for a woman to arm herself.

Wow. I had an ex bf many, many moons ago do the same. Called my BF/husband at work, would call me on our anniversary (no matter where I lived in the world. He was a crypto tech type brainic loon, in the service, he always found me.) date of meeting and play the song, I've Been Waiting, by Foreigner and if I hung up, he would go through my car radio and have them play it. I ended up with NCIS on my doorway- following me because this loon went nuts and they were following him. It is not a happy place at all!

Apparently when I was in middle school, some ugly chick who I literally never spoke to had a crush on me. My friend knows this because she was invited to her birthday party one year with several other girls. Aren't you curious about what the theme of this party was? Go on, take a guess:
No, it wasn't Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers or Barbie or the Little Mermaid?
Nope, The theme was MOTHER EFFING me.
THIS CRAZY CHICK PRINTED OUT T-SHIRTS AND PILLOWCASES AND TOWELS AND OTHER shite WITH PICTURES MY FACE PRINTED ON THEM. SHE TOLD HER MOM THAT I WAS LIKE HER BOOK BUDDY OR PEN PAL OR SOMETHING (I don't know exactly, I forget).

i'm going to get laughed at here, but "tell your wife." your wife finding out that some hotty has been stalking you will much harder to deal with than the stalker herself.
it WILL eventually come out and your wife is going to wonder why you kept it from her. if you are innocent and concerned about a stalker, you would tell her. if you don't tell her, you must be hiding something.
tell her now. i won't ever get easier. also, delete the old texts and your cute responses. then tell your wife you thought it was a one shot deal, so you deleted. it turned out to actually be a problem and you're letting her know.
it WILL eventually come out and your wife is going to wonder why you kept it from her. if you are innocent and concerned about a stalker, you would tell her. if you don't tell her, you must be hiding something.

disagree, if he deletes and confesses, wife will more than likely confront young sloot, odds are very good that said sloot will share text history with pissed off wife
ETA: always better to beg forgiveness than ask permission anyhow
