Question for OT lawyers. If the driver was carrying could he have shot the pedestrian in self defense? (Assuming this is a gun friendly state).

The car came to a stop at the stop sign and the dude who looks like some san fransican literary type threw the rock at the car when he starts to drive off. Can you shoot a guy for that?
