Now, I help my 8 year old daughter with 3rd grade stuff all the time and I now know that these two young mom's are literally not qualified to assist their children with 3rd grade homework.
Does not look like you can master written 3rd grade English either. There is a glaring mistake in there that wouldn't pass in the third or fourth grade. So I should make the same assumptions about you and your kids that you and most others here are making about this woman and her kids?

You do, of course, realize that the lady mentioned in the OP has no idea that you're knighting for her on an anonymous message board, right? And if she did, then she'd most likely laugh her arse off at you?

Tell me what government program is going to fix the fact that my children are going to whip their children's asses in life.
Public school
Also, please explain how tax cuts for billionaires will help them any more than public school investment

How about an investment from parents who actually give a shite about their kids education?
How are you supposed to teach someone math if you yourself can't even subtract?

So some woman taking the money at the gate of a pee wee football game sucks at math and that's the reason why some kids never have a chance?

Yes. I'm glad you understand. Mother's educational attainment is a leading factor in a child's success. If this mother can't do simple math, do you think she can help with a science project? Do you think she reads to her child or encourages education?
I'm sure she loves her child and when Christmas morning gets here, he'll have the latest and greatest toys under the tree. But education is probably not a top priority. People generally can't move up in life if they have no education.
Her child will be at a disadvantage because other parents will be helping with science projects, homework, etc. I remember 8th grade algebra. My own parents couldn't help me but my uncle did. I went to a poor school and our teacher was horrible. My uncle spent time on the weekends helping me understand it. If he hadn't, then I wouldn't have done as well on the math part of the ACT. Now imagine that this kid doesn't have any help. He will be behind through no fault of his own.

Right. Is this a fixable problem?

She can want for her kids to be better...attend Parent/Teacher conferences, encourage homework, show her face at school and volunteer, etc.
It's not that hard to show kids that education is important

If you really wanna mind frick someone, try going thru something like a McDonalds drive thru. Order something that comes out to be $2.51 for example. You have a $5.00 and a few pennies so you give them $5.01 so you'll get back an even .50.
They look at you like YOU are an idiot for giving them a penny and then proceed to sit there ruminating over it like it's one of life's greatest mysteries when they have an almost-idiot proof register staring them in the face.
Definitely intelligence worthy of $15/hr.

Thats why the programs have to be recalibrated to give those kids all the attention and schoolwork needed while they are in school, not at home.

At least you know those 2 are not and never have been drug dealers because even the least educated drug dealers can do simple math at a very fast rate. For example if you needed 17 pills that were $15 each and handed them 3 $100 bills they would be peeling off two $20s and a $5 the second they pulled out their roll.
