wasn't his actual wife, just some side piece he was with at the time. The moose had a bunch of side pieces.

And they were both shot dead the day before, then brought to Milan where people threw rocks and spit on them while hanging, and executed a few other facists in front of their dead hanging bodies

Careful, I wouldn't take too much glee in the murder and sadism committed by Communist partisans.

Was simply stating facts. Not sure where the glee was in there.

Mussolini was killed with his mistress. It's probably her.

It is. His wife was actually turned over to the USA and then released, returned to her home town and ran a restaurant.

That's his office in the Reich Chancellery in Berlin. The entire building was absolutely magnificent. It was Albert Speer's crown jewel to that point.

I've watched hundreds of hours of film on Nazi Germany, and the whole thing never ceases to amaze me. I learn something new every new show I watch. The design and architecture of the entire reich is something to behold.

While awful and deplorable in every way, I don't think you could ever replicate the history of events again with any country.

The picture of Hitler's office is sobering. To think of the ideas hatched in such a neutral looking setting...

Probably had a private bathroom, IMO one of the top perks of being an executive.

Play Now (a playground equipment company) has legit private bathrooms for certain employees.

Japanese war criminal, Tojo Hideki, attempted suicide after the surrender. He was saved and resuscitated by Allied forces, who then hanged him – September 8, 1945. After recovering from his injuries, Tojo was moved to Sugamo Prison. While there he received a new set of dentures made by an American dentist. The phrase “Remember Pearl Harbor” had been secretly drilled into the teeth in Morse code

WTF !!! The little Japanese guy committed suicide and died. He was resuscitated and then hanged? And then recovered from his injuries only to receive dentures. Tough little Son-of-a-bitch.

Could have been a championship MMA fighter well into his 50's.

The first documented practitioner of the music now known as New Orleans jazz was cornetist Charles “Buddy” Bolden (1877-1931).
Bolden performed from 1895 to 1906. No interviews with him are known to exist. Allegedly, he made a few recordings, but these are thought to have been carelessly thrown away as trash. The most significant extant artifact is a photo of Bolden and his band that was taken in 1905. In addition to Bolden on cornet, the group included a trombonist, an acoustic guitarist, an acoustic bassist, and two clarinetists. A certain degree of controversy surrounds the photo because some observers claim that it was printed backwards.
