That wasn't in the cards. If they were going to extradite they would have done so when the second conviction was handed down. DoS wasn't about to violate our standards on double jeopardy.

The point the prosecutors were trying to make was that one of Amanda's main defence arguments was that Amanda and meridith were really good friends so why would Amanda kill her?
The prosecutors tried to show that in fact both girls didn't really get alone very well and that there was some major causes of tension in their relationship.

Even if they upheld the conviction, there was absolutely no chance whatsoever that she would've been extradited. Italy's Criminal justice system is a complete joke and the lack of double jeopardy statues makes it hard to respect them. We're not going to extradite one of our own to their sham of a system.

You think you're being funny, but I've often wondered. After my first deployment, I had a pain in my side for about 5 months. Had my annual physical, and did a blood panel on my own time.
Since then, it's been smooth sailing. I'm still sure I'll die in my late 40s, though.
