Seriously? Look I'm glad the girl has her life on track now, but she made a ton of really dumb mistakes with either no direction or a horrible direction early on:

1.) Boyfriend involved in drugs/ drug trade
2.) got pregnant with a dead beat
3.) had no career path early on
4.) was still waiting tables after having 2 kids

I'm sorry, but I have zero sympathy for any women that gets pregnant with a dead beat and keeps the baby. First off, being with the guy in the first place is idiotic. Secondly, having sex without birth control and frankly both a condom and a birth control is even dumber. Most dead beat guys don't want to wear a condom, but that's on the woman to not open her legs for that.

I work with these type of people regularly, you can counsel them all day long and give them all kinds of support to put their life in the right direction. But if they are 19-20 and headed down the wrong path there is a reason for that and you can very very rarely change it.
