So let me wade thru all the bullshite here.... Store owner says he is 2 feet from incident, but no seen on video?

Owner claims he saw gun pulled off of deceased's person after the shooting?

Store owners credibility already shot.

Thought what would have happened if the deceased initially had a gun in his pocket, it could have fell out during the tackle to the ground and been under him.

During the struggle the officers might of noticed him sitting on the gun (which nothing he could do about that since he was pinned but it's still a threat ). If another angle shows him reaching for it, of course it's justified. Just not smart waving a gun at people in public.

I agree. But we don't know if it was just in his pocket or if he was actually reaching

Store owner had been letting him sell CDs and bootleg movies there for a while. He was likely getting a cut.

Having white cops kill a black man in that neighborhood and NOT giving that statement is bad for business... just sayin

but yes, this will be a very interesting case, Hillar will have his hands full... no doubt about that

how about he doesn't resist?

That would have been a much better decision, but I'm not sure why we have to go from that to comments about the guy deserving to die or the cops deserving a promotion.

As I said earlier, it is understandable why the cops shot him given their predicament, but I'm not sure he truly deserved to die. It is just a sad situation altogether, even if it is solely on the perp.

Couldn't see a gun but judging by both cops reactions at the same time, he had to have something. Both of them reacted very quickly at something they saw.

While the video looks bad for the cops I do not believe the testimony of the store owner at all. Like he is going to say anything else working and owning a store located there. He would have been vandalized and possibly killed with in a month..

if he was standing at the door of his store, it would have been about 8 feet.

credibility not shot so much, if he was near it. As stated, the BRPD said there is dashcam footage and security footage that will shed light.

Have they released body cam from cop? This video shows a lot but we can't tell what the suspect was doing right before he was shot. I would like to see the body cam before making any judgements. You never fricking know what this guy might've been doing.

It is clear he is resisting though, that's for damn sure.

You did not hear what happened? Not one, but both cameras "fell off" the cops and there is no body cam footage.

You can clearly hear the cop yell to the other cop that "he's got a gun". Other cop pulls his and warns him not to use it. Second cop then yells something about perp reaching for the gun. Pow pow. It looks bad because it's at very close range but the cop was justified.

Yeah, that's weird if true.

Was he intoxicated? Not saying it justifies anything.. just wondering the state of this guy to begin with.

I just hate to see it come to this.

I know I have really bad anxiety and I'll freak out if a cop goes to arrest me.. not because I did anything wrong at all, but just have really bad anxiety to begin with and phobia of it. It certainly doesn't mean I deserve to die. And I actually very much respect police.. I would definitely be explaining my situation to the officer though.

I tell my story all the time, but I've only been arrested once. Was only 17 at the time and in court for a minor traffic violation when a cop came up to me and was harassing me and sniffing on me.. I was young and stupid so I was offended by his actions.. and as he walked away I said under my breath, "you arse" that was it.. and people around me heard me and laughed.. and well he turned right around and said I was under arrest.. I absolutely freaked out.. just fear of being arrested.. so I pushed him away and ran out the courtroom.. I was having crazy panic at the time though and wasn't trying to harm anyone else. I was just afraid of going to jail.. I'm very chrostophobic (sp?) any ways I barely got a block down the street and even in the midst of my extreme anxiety I stopped and realized there was no avoiding this.. so I stopped running and let a plain clothes officer outside arrest me. I see stuff like this in the news and am so thankful I wasn't shot for running. I know people on here all the time feel if you run you are guilty or you deserve to die..

Any ways, one of the cops at the station ended up taking money out of my pockets and keeping it ($40) but when my dad came and got me out I wasn't going to fight it too hard. I was just glad to be out.

I guess my only other complaint is when these cops shoot these people so many times. I mean I at least wish they would have some sort of a chance to at least survive.. depending upon the situation.

I just wish there was better situational critical thinking and processing from some cops.. and I understand the stress of their job and being on edge. For the most part though, I really do respect police officers.
