Thereafter, I filed for divorce and got enough lawyer to make sure all she got was her clothes, a vehicle, and some cash. I kept everything else and made her surrender full custody of the kids in return for not giving her aged parents a copy of the PI report. My kids will each got a copy of said report upon the execution of my will.

wow you destroyed your family congrats. you could have forgiven her and gave her another chance but your pride was too strong. thats horrible. you took your wife away from their mom they will grow up and see it like it is just wait.

IMO the "area code" rule applies regardless of marriage obligations...

In short, you're good my man!

Haha. People's blindness to this situation, or sheer submissiveness to thier SO, is astounding. You're honestly suggesting that his REACTION to her infidelity is what destroyed the family rather than her ACTION itself? What planet are you on?

Do you know how easy it is to be faithful especially when one's life includes children and a husband to those kids, or vice versa in other situations ? Frick his pride, no amount of alcohol, or any excuse, is enough to make you forget what's waiting for you back at home. One's word is one of the few things you come into this world with and you leave with. Both trust and loyalty are bound to your word. What worth do you have if you don't even have that? Whats horrible is that SHE took herself from those kids because she committed the act knowing what was at stake.

Sorry, but the 'forgiveness' and 'second chance' angle when it comes to this is a bs cop out. You're essentially hiding behind or submitting to the 'it's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission' concept. It shows not only how weak you are towards others but to your own convictions as well. She's getting everything she deserves, and in the end, ultimately wanted.

Depends on if your wife is still pole dancing or retired.
