Advice for Europe trip

My wife and I have been speaking of going for awhile. We have traveled a decent amount but neither of us has been anywhere in Europe.
My one problem is I cannot take off the requisite time from work to really do it right (2 weeks or so), as I have extremely needy clients and when I'm gone for even a day, they lose their goddamn minds.
I think we are going to go during Thanksgiving this year, for 6-7 days. That will give us 4-5 days in a single city. My wife has already done a considerable amount of looking into flights and etc, but we are trying to decide on a single city to spend 4-5 days in, and we really just started the process of getting serious about it within the past day or two.
We have narrowed it down to:
Dublin
London
Paris
Barcelona
Florence
Rome
If we did Florence I would consider branching out a bit to Tuscany, but for the rest I would really want to stay in the city and explore, and spend our time there.
So...where should we go? Budget really isn't an issue, but we are picking between these places. Please, no other cities to muddy the waters.

Paris. Hit Normandy as a 1 day excursion.

Paris
4-5 days gives you enough time to really check out and explore the city. If you do the main tourist attractions (Eiffel, Louvre) go early in the morning to beat the lines. They have probably the best transit system I have ever used. You don't need to speak French but having an understanding of the language will definitely help.

More like warnings:
With Barcelona, you have to do a lot of planning beforehand as almost every part of the city has massive lines. You will be going in the off-season, though.
London is the ugliest and the weather will be horrible in November. It's also the most expensive, but it has the most variety.
Dublin will also have terrible weather at that time of year. It probably has the least to do in the city itself, but it's close enough to a bunch of other places that you could day trip to pretty spontaneously.
Rome and Paris have the worst people.
Florence is gorgeous, but small. Not sure if the time of year will disturb it.

My wife and I took self-drive vacations in England in 2001 and Ireland in 2007. This is the best way to sightsee but you have to be very careful about driving. We got used to it pretty quick, though.
Ireland is a beautiful country. Both countries are not particularly clean and the people were not overly friendly toward Americans. In both countries we felt like we were in the U.S in the 1960's.

I went last December. Lines are easily defeated by booking online a future determined time to visit. While everyone is standing to get into the Sagrada for 3 hours, you walk right on in. Pretty much every site has this option. Being "stuck" to the schedule is a small price to pay and besides the metro is very efficient.

I would do Rome/Florence.
3 days in Rome and 2 days in Florence would work well. You could also spend a day and go to Cinque Terre for some of the most beautiful, picturesque hiking you'll ever do in your life.
And the food is amazing.

Just got back from Ireland. People were friendly. Dublin was ok, but once we got out of the city it was much better. West coast was beautiful.

I've only been to Rome and Florence from your list, and I enjoyed Florence more. It really depends on what you want to do though, do you like to site see? Or do you like to "live like a local"?

London and Paris in November will be cold!! Like freezing cold with snow etc. These cities are best done in the spring/early summer. Go to Italy or Spain that time of year. Italy is awesome no matter what you do. Never been to Spain. Good Luck.
