I saw a Lifetime movie about this that ended terribly. So tread carefully.

Keep your head up. I have both friends and family that have gone through the adoption process, and I know how difficult it is.

Don't. They were killed in a car accident right after my first birthday. I was adopted by my maternal grandmother. She died when I was 14 so there's nobody left for you to feel bad for.

Sometimes I wish my ex would have put our daughter up for adoption right after she was born. She is now too old for me to put her up for adoption but there are days I wish I could. She just drains the life and money out Of me

do you know anything about the family that she picked?
i know you're emotional, but chances are the kid landed into a nice situation. Which in the grand scheme, is all that matters. Keep trying, and when it happens, it will be all the more special.
