I bought a huge lot of matchbooks today, mostly from Las Vegas, but there were some from all over.
I pulled out the ones from Baton Rouge.

How many of these places have you been?

Worthless without Giamanco's.

Also, my dad was in the house band at the Embers way back when.

I was always so impressed as a kid when we drove past The Village b/c they had parking attendants

We never actually went there though, we was too po'

I think I went to Don's once

Went to the upstairs Godfather's all the time when I was at LSU (late '80s)

ETA: You need to post these on the Food Board. In fact start a thread over there for pics of restaurants, food, etc...

As a child, I can remember going to The Tiffan Inn for breakfast on Airline Highway by the old Woman's Hospital.

Good memories.
