Nope, Most doctors/midlevels are in private groups contracted at hospitals

It’s variable.

But I do know at least one doctor doing PsLF. He works for a state hospital (not in LA).

I also know a number of doctors that work for nonprofit healthcare systems and could partake (idk if they do).

What did he study that cost so much money?

Nothing,

The guy probably borrowed only about $50k-$60k, the rest is interest. Taxpayers were probably only on the hook for the principle.

A $60,000 loan at 7% will be near $250,000 in about 20 years if it's not paid down.

Yeah sounds like they’re basically applying the new IBR plans retroactively and forgiving loans with 25 years of qualifying payments.

That sounds right. A while back during the Trump administration the DOE expanded the definition of qualifying payments. So if you made payments on a student loan previous to PSFL they counted toward your 10 years, not just 10 years of payments in the plan.

This bitch gets his loans forgiven so he can frick around in India. But I can’t get my loans forgiven so I can pay for my son’s surgery. Sounds about right. .
