I've had my eye on that corner for a while. That's a bad spot where it seaps into the back side of Bickham Dickson. Now it's flowing...

If the stars align I might be living up there in the semi-near future.

Outside of the levee of course.

I'm supposed to be staying at the Hilton downtown tonight. Am I going to have a problem?

You should be OK if you're coming off I-20 or I-49.

No. It is high and dry. But you may have a good view of the river and the connecting bayou.

Just crested at around 37 feet. It's projected to level out for a few days then begin a slow drop, but still remain above major flood stage for the foreseeable future.

The spillway at Bistineau is now flowing backwards. River backing up into loggy bayou which is now backing up into Bistineau. South Bossier parish is now at serious risk.

Dorcheat Bayou, which feeds Bistineau, is high as hell already. Bistineau is gonna get it from both sides. The high water coming down Dorcheat headed south and the back flow from Loggy Bayou.

Yep, got a great view of the bayou and the river from the 11th floor. The traffic getting here was horrific!

If you have the urge to make it rain, just walk across the street to The 'Vu

Traffic is way worse than usual. The parkways being closed, plus some of I-220, has jammed things up on the other streets.
