Looked to me like the River has started falling a little at Hwy 2 this morning vs. yesterday.

This patch of rain seems to be following the river south.

I woke up to the thunder. Thankfully it's a small shower. We just need to avoid one of those big fronts sweeping across North Texas and Oklahoma. The river is only going to fall a foot over the next 7 to 10 days pending no more rain.

I need to go to Texarkana before this week ends. Can I take I-220 west, exit at Benton Road and head north on Hwy 3?

I think the westbound 220 exits from I-20 are closed. You can get off in Haughton and run up 80 to 220 and get on there.

Thanks. I guess closing the I-20 exit onto 220 will limit the traffic to mostly local travel.

Traffic is way worse than usual. The parkways being closed, plus some of I-220, has jammed things up on the other streets

Yeah, between 4:00-5:30, Barksdale Blvd is a parking lot. Especially where it intersects with Airline.

You can still go up North Market to the new I-49 to Texarkana. Hwy 71 in Texarkana is closed on the North side of town headed to Dequeen though.

Ahh, ok. You've totally redeemed yourself.

Anyway, prayers sent to those still affected by this...
