I like the look of both of these cars, but is there any reason to go with the dodge, besides the fact that the bmw is used?
Yes. I don´t think there are readily available spinner rims for the 3 series.

3 series is the quintessential try hard car.
I was getting ready to post this...
whenever I see someone in a three series, I think,"well, they must be new money as all he or have zero taste/understanding in automobiles",
seriously... 3series drivers are way worse than people that drive I series Lexus and that's saying something

Isn't the 3 series the official car of the $30,000 millionaire?
Yes, it is.
What a great article!

I see you guys have never drove a 3 series. Awesome car. My wife had one, and I wish I had kept it. Will buy one for myself when the kids get older.

I'm a BMW guy and have had the 325i and currently the 550i. The 328 is peppy but maybe go a year older and get the 335. You will thank me or broaden your search to upgrade the engine. Worth every penny imo.
FWIW: I have a 07 550i and my buddy has an 08 530i. With the turbo of the 6 cylinder the 530 is just as peppy with better gas mileage. Hope this helps

one of my buddies that went to Jesuit had one and I drove it a couple of times when he was unable to due to drinking to much and being a tryhard
it wasn't a bad car, just incredibly overpriced and overrated

Challenger if it's a v8(R/T, Scat pack, SRT, or Hellcat).
Bmw if the Chally is a v6(SE, rallye, sxt)

I also drove a friend's 3 series when she drank too much. I thought it handled very well, and enjoyed the drive. This was probably 7-8 years ago, though.

I think having a challenger as your main vehicle is trashy as hell, but that's just me.

BMW's are fun to drive, but the only good BMW is a BMW that's in warranty. Tons of crazy super expensive shite will definitely go wrong with them.
I don't think I'd consider a Dodge.
You need a Toyota brand something.

What about the manual version of the SS?

I agree with the statement about getting the 335. When I brought my X5 in for an oil change, they gave me a 335 to drive and I had a blast in that car. It flat out hauled arse.
I liked it so much that I started doing research on them. I've always wanted an M3 and was thinking the 335 may be a compromise until I'm ready to drop the coin on an M3. Only known issue I could find was that the turbos had to be rebuilt right around the 100k mile mark.
I love BMWs and the engineering that goes into them. That said, they aren't without some issues. There's a lot of systems and things happen. If you get one, make sure you have the warranty. Nothing wrong with a certified pre owned either, and they come with factory warranty to 100k miles.

3 series is a chick car. do you have a penis?

We bought a naturally aspirated BMW with a manual transmission to hopefully avoid all of those issues. I think we will. Ours is a 5 and I think it's one of the finest engineered automobiles of all time. Can't group everything BMW makes into that, but when they do it right...

My best friend drives a BMW 328i and he has a humongous penis.

This is an odd choice of cars. Seems like two different classes of vehicles.
In my opinion the Dodge Chargers and Challengers look big and clunky. Any opinions on that? Say compared to the BMW or any other sleeker sedan.
I need to find one to test drive.

Chargers and challengers are commonly referred to as boats. They are big, spacious vehicles. They are spacious and comfortable. The 5.7 Hemi isn't bad for your daily driving needs. They pull hard 0-60 and even harder on top end. Enough torque to snap your head and back and get sideways from a dead stand still or 20 roll. The 6.4 HEMI is an animal. When I say animal, I mean wide open throttle will scare you as the torque pushes your stomach into your spine. It feels like your eye balls are sinking into your head the first few times you go full throttle in a 6.4l aka 392. The hellcat...well I've seen them dyno stock at 630+ Rwhp. I imagine wide open throttle in one of those would feel like getting punched in the gut by Mike Tyson.
The 2015+ challengers have an extremely nice upgraded interior and technologies. They got the 8.4 uconnect from the previous gen chargers and 300's, adaptive cruise control, reverse camera, among other things. They are worth checking out and test driving. I promise!
