So far this Mardi Gras is the year of the non-NO parade shootings.

Still have a few days left though

I was at this parade but not at the location of the shooting. Very family oriented group where we were in front of Trinity Church.

Pass parade has always been a little "rough" to say the least. Prayers for victims. So sad

For some people at least, murder is the new normal. Get used to it because it is only going to get worse.

We go to this parade every year and it does have several rough areas, but plenty of great family friendly areas. We have a place to go that has a big crawfish boil every year and is pretty family friendly.

Sad that all the fun of this great parade is over shadowed by idiots who can't handle alcohol and/or anger.

"We were sitting on the porch and I heard pops," Wileman said. "At first I thought it was fireworks, but we shoot guns, so I wondered if it was gunshots. "I had a clear line of sight to a ballfield and I saw 150 to 250 people scattering, running as fast as they could. People just don't run from fireworks like that." "What a great day it had been," Wileman said. "What a shame. I can't believe people would bring weapons to a parade."

i'm thinking the Mobile Leprechaun has made it's way to the Mississippi area and is not spraying bullets.
