Just meant if you didn't bring a lunch with you that is a better option than other fast food.

Get wheat bread or flat bread....,no mayo, no cheese and load up on veggies on a turkey sub with a lil bit of mustard and that's still not a bad lunch option. No chips or cookies. Bottle of water and apple slices.

You just have to realize not everything at subway is healthy so it doesn't mean you can get any sandwich you want and be "healthy"

exactly.

and don't tell me that eating healthy is expensive.

our beef/chicken/fish and fresh produce are the cheapest of anything in the store. most, if not all, stores are similar. that's all you need.

take a little effort to prepare food instead of forcing down a bunch of processed, high calorie, high fat foods and you won't have fat kids.

Yeah. But you could realistically also get a footlong sub with mayo on white bread and a bag of chips for lunch every day and you would not end up anywhere near 347 pounds

I mean do you know how much shite you have to eat on a daily basis to maintain 347 pounds? It's insane.

Maybe not 347 lbs, but I bet you get overweight, and so is most of America these days. The 347 lb 12 Year old is an extreme case, but the problem of overweight America is still a big problem and getting bigger.

direct (the booze) and indirect (the canes, taco bell, and jack in the box...both that night and for a hangover lunch the next day)

Decent meat is not cheap. Cheap meat is cheap and full of antibiotics and other crap. Not to mention even cheap beef cuts are getting expensive. Produce is better, but you know what's really cheap: carbs. Breads, pastas, rice...etc are all cheaper than meat and make fat people fatter plus the diabetes.

A whole fryer is like 4 bucks. You have to trim it up a bit, and scrub of some undesirables, but it's a whole chicken. That was a Sunday feast 50 years ago.

I will not entertain an argument about "decent" meat when we are talking about people that eat frozen crap and fast foods.

you don't have to cook healthy food to lose weight.

You have to count calories and burn more than you consume. I you eat 1500 calories of doritos a day you will lose weight from 325.

I agree. I live that lifestyle. I exercise so I can eat crap every now and then.

I have slumps, but I crawl out a couple times a year.

Got to blame it on something.
