Bad parenting- 100%

This is strictly a failure of parenting.
I'm not going to disagree, because it clearly is, but let's also say that they have a lot of help too.
When 70 percent of our grocery store items are filled with corn sweeteners there's a big part of the problem. It's also a problem when society reinforces short cutting and quick answers to food rather than doing it right and healthy. Fast food is also an enormous problem with people like that little girl, and so they get addicted to sweet fatty foods, and crave it like crack. Show me quick and nutritious fast food for a fast lifestyle and on a budget these days. They are far and few between. It's our society. We talk healthy foods, but when we get one like a salad for instance, the first thing we do is we drown it in fatty dressing.

It's child abuse and should be treated as such.

yea, let's blame the stores instead of the people who aren't researching and actively giving a shite about their health and child's health.
not my fault, it's everyone else's but mine.

unfortunately i see the same bad parenting in my own immediate family. i have seen my cousins on one side of the family grow up since they were born and have gotten noticeably fat. its a shame too bc when im always over they are downing cokes and junk food. i want to say something to my uncle and aunts but i feel as if it will come off in a bad way. And it doesnt help that im relatively young compared to them either.

I didn't blame it on the stores. I said the parents have a lot of help in bad habits, especially parents who aren't very tuned in.
The very choices in front of you scream unhealthy. You have to really go out of your way to eat healthy, really healthy these days.
Just take lunch for example. You've got thirty minutes and need to kill the hunger. Go..

watching that part of that with the woman grocery shopping was really tough to watch.

I work in a healthy eating oriented grocery store, so it's not fair for me to answer

reheat the chicken breast i cooked on sunday on my grill with no sauces and a dry rub of spices in the microwave, put it on top of the mixed greens, carrots, and peppers which i also chopped on sunday and put some balsamic vinegar on top of it.
That took 30 seconds in the microwave and 15 seconds to toss the salad. Eat in 15 mins and i have 10 mins to relax before i start working again.
DAMN that was tough.

Subway
That's not very healthy. Matter of fact, the tuna is the fattest thing you could get.
Healthier than McDonalds, but not that healthy really.

That reminds I need to go back to your store. Their prepackaged meals look good.

That's at home. Very easy. I'm talking you're on the road and have no other choice but what's before you and on a budget. The options suck balls. You have to go out of your way to eat good.

Salisbury steak is legit, so is the pot roast. I haven't tried the others.
I usually just get someone in the deli to make me a sandwich and I eat it with some soup. like 700ish calories.

Then you shouldnt have become a parent.
You can also buy the premade chicken strips at the store and prechopped salad mix. MIcrowave, toss, enjoy.
You can also eat a footlong turkey and ham sub at subway for 3 meals a day every day and not be anywhere near remotely close to 347 pounds.

The parents should be charged with child abuse for letting her get that fat
