The way he described it it seemed pretty bad, unfortunately not bad enough to give the team an out from his contract.

Apparently Browner had a previous incident with the same reporter after loss at Philadelphia.

Please don't cut him. I do NOT want to see him go to some contender and latch on and get another ring out of it. Just deactivate him or whatever.

I dont care what he does as long as he doesn't cost us games.

Exactly. It's not one play. It's his entire game pretty much. He made one nice play, and the rest of the time he was getting worked.

If he's not on our team and goes to another team, no. I only care when he's on the saints roster and does stupid shite on 3rd and long or is out of position. Etc etc

Is Browner dead money, like Junior, if we cut him? A travesty that he's still on the team.

Good question. I don't know the answer, but I'll look into it.

Since we would be cutting him mid contract, wouldn't it be dead money? I'm not entirely sure either. I cannot believe we signed this guy for 3 years...

Browner's base salary is fully guaranteed, so we get no relief this season by cutting him.

In 2016, his $2.75m base salary is also fully guaranteed. Cutting him this season saves us a little under $1m in 2016. He would count $5.3m against the cap (dead money).

Hard to be optimistic about the future.
